Social Media Approval Workflow for Agencies and Teams

Start a 7-day free trial →  Approvals, 10 team seats, 20 client workspaces.

SchedPilot’s approval workflow puts every scheduled post in front of the right person before it goes out — your reviewer, your account manager, or the client themselves. It’s on the Enterprise plan at $79/month annually, which also includes 100 connected accounts, 20 workspaces, and 10 team seats.

How it works

  1. A post is drafted — by your team in the calendar, by your own software through the API, or by an AI agent.
  2. It enters the approval queue instead of publishing. Nothing reaches a live account unreviewed.
  3. The reviewer approves or sends it back. Approved posts publish at their scheduled time; rejected ones return to the drafter.

One workspace per client

Twenty workspaces means each client’s accounts, calendar, and approval queue stay separate. A reviewer on one account never sees another’s content, and your team switches between them without logging out. That separation is the part agencies usually end up building in a spreadsheet.

Being clear about the gate: approvals are an Enterprise feature, not something on the $21 plan. If you are a solo operator with no one to approve to, the lower tiers are the better buy and we would rather say so than sell you a seat you will not use.

Approvals still apply when a machine drafts the post

This is the part most approval tools miss. Posts created through the SchedPilot API or by an AI agent via schedpilot-mcp land in the same queue as anything a human wrote. Your agent can draft a week of content and a person still signs it off before a client’s audience sees it — automation with a human gate, not instead of one.

Who this is for

Agencies who need client sign-off before publishing, in-house teams where legal or brand reviews every post, and anyone running AI-drafted content who is not willing to let it publish unreviewed. Regulated industries — finance, healthcare, legal — usually need this on day one.
