An Inflact Alternative That Schedules and Tracks Instagram and 8 Other Networks

Open Inflact’s pricing page today and it describes four jobs: find influencers, view content, analyze profiles, track competitors. Publishing is not on the list. If you came to Inflact hoping to plan next week’s Reels and see how last week’s performed, you’re shopping in the wrong aisle.

That gap is where SchedPilot fits. It schedules posts to Instagram and eight other networks from one calendar, then reports on your own accounts afterwards. Plans start at $21 a month.

What Inflact is good at

Inflact is a research kit for Instagram. The profile analyzer, follower tracker, stories viewer, downloader and hashtag generator all point at other people’s accounts: competitors, influencers you might hire, creators whose content you want to study. The free tier is generous enough for occasional lookups. Paid plans are Research at $34 a month and Pro at $59, with a 7-day trial that costs $3.

Two limits matter. It only covers Instagram. And its analytics describe accounts from the outside, which helps when you’re sizing up a competitor and helps much less when you’re deciding what to post on Thursday. (Inflact also states in its own footer that it isn’t endorsed or certified by Instagram. Worth knowing before you build a workflow around it.)

What SchedPilot does that Inflact doesn’t

Scheduling

You connect Instagram through Meta’s official API with OAuth, so no password changes hands. From there the Instagram scheduler queues Reels, carousels, single images and story reminders weeks ahead. It can post your first comment automatically and reuse saved hashtag sets, so you stop pasting the same 20 tags from your notes app.

Everything sits on a drag-and-drop calendar, and the same post can go to TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest and Bluesky without being rebuilt eight times. A 15-second Reel that also goes out as a Short and a TikTok is three posts from one upload. That’s most of the argument for a multi-network scheduler.

Analytics on your own accounts

Every plan includes account analytics: reach, impressions, clicks, watch time and follower growth for each connected account, across all nine networks. Best-time-to-post suggestions come from your own audience’s activity instead of a generic “post at 6pm” chart. If you run an agency, you can export client reports and stop screenshotting Instagram Insights into a slide deck.

One more thing Inflact has no answer for. SchedPilot has an MCP server and a REST API, so Claude or ChatGPT can draft and schedule a week of posts for you. Each one waits in the calendar until you approve it.

Should you switch?

Not always. If your work is vetting influencers or researching competitors, keep Inflact. SchedPilot doesn’t search for influencers, and it won’t let you view or download someone else’s stories. Plenty of teams will reasonably run both.

But if you’re paying $34 a month for research and still publishing by hand from your phone every evening, the money is in the wrong place. Silver costs $13 less and removes the daily chore.

The quickest test: start the trial, connect one Instagram account, schedule a week of posts, and open the analytics tab the following Monday. That’s enough to tell.
